Always a great experience when we visit here. Consistently good food and service. All staff and management are fantastic and friendly, always made to feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them, if you have any questions about the menu or have special requirements they are always willing to help.

The Crabshell Inn

The Quay, Embankment Rd, Kingsbridge TQ7 1JZ, UK – 01548 852345

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The bar is a nice open layout and inviting with a large log fire. Good selection of beers as well :-)

Enjoyed this place a lot. Pleasant atmosphere and decor, and a lovely setting by the river (when it's there - and it's smelly when it's not there!) The wall of doors is novel and the tables and chairs are stylish but may not be to everyone's liking (they seemed to be repurposed school-type chairs, but pretty funky). The bartender was knowledgeable about real ale, and they have their own microbrewery. Lots to like!
